8th Grade Celebration Walk

We are excited to announce that family and friends are invited to participate in our annual "8th-grade Celebration Walk" at 9:20AM on Tuesday, May 20th.  As 8th- graders walk through the building, students, faculty and staff will clap and cheer as 8th-graders walk the halls for a final time and then, they will transition outside where family and friends will also show their support. You are encouraged to bring posters, balloons, banners, etc. to show your excitement, however, all items must return home with you.

School resource officers will be onsite to direct parking as you enter and leave campus (main parking lot, car rider lane, and back field). There will also be cones or dividers to distinguish available parking areas. You may park in any available space in the main lot, however when it becomes full, please park in the back field. If the back field becomes full you may choose to park at the church and walk to Jones and there will be some limited spaces in the bus lane. 

You may want to bring a chair as there may be a delay in all students transitioning outdoors. We are requesting that everyone stand beside their car (if parked in car rider lane), in the bus lane grassy area or on the bus lane sidewalk area as indicated on the attached map. Once all students have arrived to the bus lane, you may find your student and celebrate. Feel free to take pictures , however, family and friends must remain outside when students return to the building.  At the conclusion of the student walk, please exercise caution and patience as you are exiting campus.
